Pivoting My Business: Expanding Beyond Digital Products to Trending Niches

How It All Started

When I first launched my blog, my focus was crystal clear—teaching women how to make money online by creating, launching, and selling digital products. It made sense: digital products are a powerful, low-cost way to build a business and generate passive income. But as I immersed myself deeper into the online space, I noticed something interesting…

The Market Shift: What’s Trending?

While my original niche is valuable, I realized that many of the most searched and shared topics online aren’t directly about making digital products—they’re about:

  • Women’s Fashion (Think stylish home office outfits, CEO chic, digital nomad style)
  • Home Decor (Designing the perfect workspace, aesthetic digital planners, printable wall art)
  • DIY & Crafting (Creative projects, templates, and printables for makers)
  • Food & Beverage (Recipe books, meal planners, kitchen organization printables)
  • Lifestyle & Productivity (Goal-setting worksheets, self-care planners, daily routines)
  • Travel (Itineraries, budget planners, packing lists for digital nomads)

Pinterest, in particular, is dominated by these categories. And since my goal is to attract Pinterest users to my website, it’s clear—I need to create content and digital products that fit into these popular spaces.

My New Direction: Digital Products for Trending Niches

Instead of solely teaching women how to create and sell digital products, I’m now:

  1. Expanding my digital product library – I’ll be creating printables, guides, and resources across these trending topics, making it easier for women entrepreneurs to tap into profitable spaces.
  2. Keeping the focus on women entrepreneurs – No matter the topic, my goal remains the same: help women create a thriving online business by offering products, resources, and strategies tailored to an entrepreneurial lifestyle.
  3. Bringing the CEO Lifestyle into Every Niche – Whether it’s a digital nomad’s travel checklist, a home office setup guide, or a self-care planner for busy entrepreneurs, I want to tie every topic back to helping women live, work, and thrive like a CEO.

Why This Shift Matters

I’ve learned that building a successful online business isn’t about sticking rigidly to one idea—it’s about staying in tune with what people want and where the traffic is. By pivoting my approach, I can:

Reach a bigger audience
Leverage Pinterest’s most popular categories
Offer digital products that align with women’s real interests
Help female entrepreneurs embrace a lifestyle of freedom, creativity, and success

What’s Coming Next?

Over the next few months, I’ll be rolling out:

  • New digital products (planners, guides, templates, and printables)
  • New blog content on trending topics
  • Pinterest-friendly posts and visuals
  • More ways for women entrepreneurs to build businesses in these profitable niches

If you’re a new online entrepreneur, digital creator, or content-loving CEO in the making, you’re in the right place. This shift is all about creating opportunities in trending spaces while keeping our entrepreneurial mindset strong.
